What is Awesome Planet Epcot Attraction?
Disney has a conservation fund which they use to run research on our planet and what they can do to help improve our world.
In partnership with this fund, they created the Awesome Planet ten minute film which showcases the greatness of our planet.
You’ll learn about our Earth’s story and how we can protect it.
The visuals and audio are high quality, so the effects are great!
They even add scent into the room, so you can smell what you are watching. Very neat.

Where is the Awesome Planet film attraction located at Disney World?
You’ll find Awesome Planet located in Epcot, but specifically at the Land Pavilion.
Find it in the World Nature section of the park.
Other things near the Awesome Planet attraction is the popular Soarin Epcot ride and Living with the Land.
The Land Pavilion also has two restaurants located inside of it. Garden Grill Restaurant and Sunshine Seasons.
At these restaurants, you can enjoy food that is grown on the Disney property.
Getting to Awesome Planet in Epcot
You can enter the park from two spots.
One is the main front entrance near the Disney Monorail.
From there, you’ll pass Spaceship Earth, pass the Seas with Nemo & Friends, then the Land Pavilion will be on your right.
Walk into the Pavilion and find Awesome Planet Epcot showing times.
Alternatively, if you’re near a skyliner station, you can enter Epcot using the Disney Skyliner entrance.
This entrance will drop you off at the back of Epcot near the France Pavilion (where you can enjoy breakfast at Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie) and the United Kingdom Pavilion.
From there, you’ll walk along the water bridges and pass the Imagination Pavilion on your left (where you’ll find the Figment ride).
Continue past that and The Land Pavilion will be on your left.

Remember: for any sit-down dinner or character meal, I recommend to definitely book 60 days out, or whenever your Disney dining dates open.
If you’re staying on site, you can book dining reservations earlier as a perk.
Don’t have reservations? Check regularly during your trip, on the app, or walk up to the restaurant early in the day and request a day-of reservation. Disney reservations are often dropped day-of since sometimes people “hoard them”.
I once was a walk-up and was told there would be a 90 minute wait for a table at Steakhouse 71.
Not a problem, since it’s an interesting hotel to walk around and they have an arcade.
Anyways, within 5 minutes my reservation was ready because someone canceled. So you never know.
