Getting to Disney’s Riviera Resort
If arriving at MCO (Orlando International Airport), you can book a Mears Connect bus ride which drops off at the Riviera prior to going to the Caribbean Beach Resort.

Taking a rideshare or taxi service will be the easiest most direct route to the Riviera Resort
You don’t need to have a car
The Riviera has direct access to the Disney Skyliner or bus / rideshare accommodations.

You don’t need to be a Disney Vacation Club Member to stay at the Riviera
Disney Club Memberships act like a timeshare, so there are times when someone cannot use the time given to them, so they give their resort dates away.

A Premier Location
This Disney hotel is located near most of the theme parks, so it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for an easy commute to and from the parks.

Especially parks accessible with Skyliner transportation.
It’s also near other resorts…

My opinion of Disney’s Riviera Resort…
This resort is a great place to stay for your next Disney World vacation.
What is the Riviera hotel like?
They offer really stylish and modern accommodations inspired by Europe.
There are Disney touches, but it isn’t cartoon-oriented like other properties.

See – Mickey and Minnie are in the artwork in the Riviera, but they fit the scene.
It gives me Epcot France vibes.

Inspiration of Riviera Resort
In case you didn’t know, the Riviera was inspired by the love of Walt and Lillian Disney.
They fell head over heels during their European riviera vacations.
Thus the Riviera was inspired after their love story.
What parks it’s near
Its location is fantastic being close to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot.
Additionally, you can easily walk to other resorts and restaurants nearby.
Is it on the Skyliner?
Having easy access to the Disney Skyliner is a real selling point for this resort.

The skyliner will get you to a ton of places on the Disney property and it’s a breeze to use from the Riviera.

Disney dining tips from Jenna Loves Magic
Remember: for any sit-down dinner or character meal, I recommend to definitely book 60 days out, or whenever your Disney dining dates open.
If you’re staying on site, you can book dining reservations earlier as a perk.
Don’t have reservations? Check regularly during your trip, on the app, or walk up to the restaurant early in the day and request a day-of reservation. Disney reservations are often dropped day-of since sometimes people “hoard them”.
I once was a walk-up and was told there would be a 90 minute wait for a table at Steakhouse 71.
Not a problem, since it’s an interesting hotel to walk around and they have an arcade.
Anyways, within 5 minutes my reservation was ready because someone canceled. So you never know.
