    Getting to Disney’s Riviera Resort

If arriving at MCO (Orlando International Airport), you can book a Mears Connect bus ride which drops off at the Riviera prior to going to the Caribbean Beach Resort.

This is a view of the distance between Caribbean Beach Resort and Riviera.

Taking a rideshare or taxi service will be the easiest most direct route to the Riviera Resort

You don’t need to have a car

The Riviera has direct access to the Disney Skyliner or bus / rideshare accommodations.

You don’t need to be a Disney Vacation Club Member to stay at the Riviera

Disney Club Memberships act like a timeshare, so there are times when someone cannot use the time given to them, so they give their resort dates away.

    A Premier Location

This Disney hotel is located near most of the theme parks, so it’s a great place to stay if you’re looking for an easy commute to and from the parks.

Is there an arcade at Riviera Resort

No, there is no arcade at the Riviera Resort. Instead, you can take the skyliner from Riviera Resort to Art of Animation nearby and visit the arcade near the lobby.

My opinion of Disney’s Riviera Resort…

This resort is a great place to stay for your next Disney World vacation.

What is the Riviera hotel like?

They offer really stylish and modern accommodations inspired by Europe.

There are Disney touches, but it isn’t cartoon-oriented like other properties.

Art and Wine Inside Disney Riviera Resort

See – Mickey and Minnie are in the artwork in the Riviera, but they fit the scene.

It gives me Epcot France vibes.

    Inspiration of Riviera Resort

In case you didn’t know, the Riviera was inspired by the love of Walt and Lillian Disney.

They fell head over heels during their European riviera vacations.

Thus the Riviera was inspired after their love story.

    What parks it’s near

Its location is fantastic being close to both Hollywood Studios and Epcot.

Additionally, you can easily walk to other resorts and restaurants nearby.

    Is it on the Skyliner?

Having easy access to the Disney Skyliner is a real selling point for this resort.

    Disney Skyliner from Riviera

The skyliner will get you to a ton of places on the Disney property and it’s a breeze to use from the Riviera.

Check out this fun arcade at Art Of Animation...

    Onsite dining at Riviera Resort

Along with the lovely ambiance and upscale vibe of the resort, dining options are top tier as well.

    Onsite restaurant options include…

Did I mention that it’s a rooftop restaurant?

    FAQs

Is Disney Riviera a deluxe resort?

Yes, the Riviera is a Disney Deluxe Resort establishment. This European vibed resort offers some of the best resort rooms, dining, and relaxing environments in all of the Disney properties.

Can you get from the Disney Riviera to Disney Springs?

Yes, the Riviera offers bus service from the resort to Disney Springs. Please refer to their bus schedule for departure/pickup times and location.

Are there any quick service restaurants in the Riviera?

The absolute best spot for quick service is Primo Piatto. This is a great spot to enjoy some fast casual food as well as a nice grab-and-go option if you’re headed out the door to a park.

Disney dining tips from Jenna Loves Magic

Remember: for any sit-down dinner or character meal, I recommend to definitely book 60 days out, or whenever your Disney dining dates open.

If you’re staying on site, you can book dining reservations earlier as a perk.

Don’t have reservations? Check regularly during your trip, on the app, or walk up to the restaurant early in the day and request a day-of reservation. Disney reservations are often dropped day-of since sometimes people “hoard them”.

I once was a walk-up and was told there would be a 90 minute wait for a table at Steakhouse 71.

Not a problem, since it’s an interesting hotel to walk around and they have an arcade.

Anyways, within 5 minutes my reservation was ready because someone canceled. So you never know.

Also see my other favorites on this list of the best places to eat at Disney World. (coming soon)

Enjoy planning your Riviera Resort stay

Hope that answers all your questions about the Disney Riviera Resort in Walt Disney World.
