Curious about taking an Uber From MCO To Disney World resorts? It’s not that complicated!
If you're planning a visit to Walt Disney World, you may be wondering how to get from Orlando International Airport (MCO) to one of the area's many amazing Disney resorts.
What’s the deal with getting from MCO to Disney World?
Unfortunately, when you arrive in Orlando, your plane doesn’t just drop you off at Disney World (but wouldn’t that be nice?!)...
So today I’m going to share what to know when you land at MCO airport in Orlando, Florida…
And if you scroll to the bottom, you can watch a quick video which will show you how we get an Uber Black with a car seat included - so we don’t have to pack one for a Disney trip.
What’s the best way to get from MCO to Disney World?
Our favorite way to travel is to take a rideshare, and today we'll explain why!
When you arrive at MCO airport, you have several options for transport to Disney World.

But the first step is usually to take the shuttle (or what you might call the airport tram) from the terminal to the arrivals location.

Is Uber better than Disney shuttles from MCO?
You have other options…
For instance, you can arrange a MEARS shuttle, or MEARS taxi, or even a MINNIE rideshare (it’s in a really cute car)...
But usually don't arrange anything in advance in case of any flight delays…
And because we like to get right to our location without having to wait for a bus to fill up, for example.
Plus, my crew doesn’t travel to Disney very “lightly” (I own a million ears!) so we have a lot of luggage to haul around.

Where is the Uber ride pickup location at MCO
After going through the airport terminal, and hopping on the tram to baggage claim, I don’t like to call Uber just yet.
First off, you need to check if the exit door you are near is the actual location of Uber pickup at MCO…
It’s easy to end up at the wrong location as MCO is a large airport.
Once we have our luggage, then we call an Uber Black.
How much does Uber cost from MCO to Disney Resorts?
Because we pack “heavy” we usually need our own Uber Black.
It usually runs us around $100, which is about the same as a taxi will cost.
As you can see below, there is a difference between Uber XL, Uber Black, and whether or not you get an Uber with a car seat.
Here’s a photo of our rideshare options from a recent trip, but we were staying at an offsite Disney property, or actually it was more like a Universal Studios Orlando property.

Can you get a carseat with Uber in Orlando?
The great thing about the cars in Orlando is that you can request a toddler seat for added safety.

Disney dining tips from Jenna Loves Magic
Remember: for any sit-down dinner or character meal, I recommend to definitely book 60 days out, or whenever your Disney dining dates open.
If you’re staying on site, you can book dining reservations earlier as a perk.
Don’t have reservations? Check regularly during your trip, on the app, or walk up to the restaurant early in the day and request a day-of reservation. Disney reservations are often dropped day-of since sometimes people “hoard them”.
I once was a walk-up and was told there would be a 90 minute wait for a table at Steakhouse 71.
Not a problem, since it’s an interesting hotel to walk around and they have an arcade.
Anyways, within 5 minutes my reservation was ready because someone canceled. So you never know.
