Today I’ll take you on an in-depth Hilton Orlando room tour – for the Hilton on Destination Parkway. I never thought I'd be a Disney World or Orlando person during summer, but when I had a few free days to redeem at Hilton, I decided to check out the Hilton Orlando.

We loved this Hilton in Orlando for so many reasons, including the great pools, but I’ll explain my overall review at the bottom of this post, after sharing some photos of our room…

Take a TOUR of one of the Destination Parkway Hilton Orlando Rooms… it’s a queen room with standard view and amenities.
This is from a recent July Disney World Trip - just an FYI, this Hilton hotel is near MCO but not that close to Disney World (ie. there is no shuttle).

Hilton Orlando Hotel lobby
The lobby is beautiful…
Since this is also a hotel used for business conferences and business travel, the overall feel wasn’t Disney-centric, like you’d get staying on-property somewhere like Disney Riviera Resort.

Standard Room with two queen beds
This room has two queen beds…
They were comfortable…
And I love when a hotel room has an extra chair or two…
Desk in room
We sometimes like to get two rooms or a suite, but for this super last-minute Disney World trip, we booked one room.
Check out what to eat at the onsite restaurant, Scratch Market at Hilton Orlando...
When we are all sharing a room, the desk usually holds clothes when there aren’t enough drawers.
That was the case for us, I love to overpack for Disney trips!
Final thoughts - is this a good Hilton in Orlando?
On the positive… it's just a 17 minute drive from MCO Airport, and close enough to Disney World to visit the theme parks during your trip…
Though, I was disappointed to find out there was no shuttle service to Disney World, but it was my fault - I got mixed up when booking the trip and didn’t realize there are so many Hiltons in Orlando.
I was pleasantly surprised when I found out the Hilton Orlando on Destination Parkway does offer a shuttle to Universal Studios.
The room was great despite some issues we had getting our room cleaned (it was skipped for 4-5 days without explanation and we saw an ant…)
The resort did have a beautiful pool which we really enjoyed on our rest day.
So if you're thinking of visiting Orlando, especially Universal Studios Orlando, during the summer, check out the Hilton Orlando.
